TaxBuddie for Android
The Android app is ready to use while we finish its Play Store release.
TaxBuddie is not listed on Google Play just yet because the store release and review process is still being completed. Until then, Android users can install the official APK directly from taxbuddie.org.
Before you install
Android may ask for one extra permission.
Apps installed outside Google Play require confirmation from Android. This is expected for an APK and does not give TaxBuddie any additional access to your phone.
- 1Download the APK
Tap the download button above and confirm the file download if Android asks.
- 2Open the downloaded file
Use the download notification or open it from your browser’s Downloads list.
- 3Allow this installation
If prompted, allow your browser to install this one app, then choose Install.
- 4Turn the permission off afterwards
You can disable “Install unknown apps” for your browser once TaxBuddie is installed.
Coming to Google Play
Prefer to wait for the Play Store?
The Google Play release is planned by the end of August 2026, subject to Google’s review process. You can continue using the web version with the same TaxBuddie account in the meantime.
